Final Garment
Using the same pattern as my previous Flower Printed Dress i elaborated on it and made it longer at the back but still continuing with the short front. This works really nicely as a garment, it flows nicely and is fitted around the bodis area, giving it a nice structure. its is fashionable as i have used on trend colours and hemmed it with black to bring out the colours more. i used a zip opening on the back. Problems were that when i was hemming the bottom, the fabric was fraying so the hem binding was slipping off.
Next time i would remove the darts so that it doesn't interfere with the print.
The fabric was a thick printed chiffon, I used 2 and a half meters, £7 a metre and was from Green Street.

Trouser 3
This garment works well as it was a nice fit, with 2 extra seam lines down the back legs making them more fitted around the hips and thighs. They look very fashionable on and seem very practical to wear daily because of the comfortable fit, and i hemmed the legs with cuffs making the ankle area fitted also. I used a zip opening that runs trough the high waisted waistband. A problem was that when i was sewing both legs together, i tubed one leg inside the other and sewed the crotch area in the 'U' shape, but because i had the extra seams it was hard to get all the lines to meet correctly, but managed it in the end. next time i would improve these by not making them so high waisted, and make the pockets deeper.
The fabric was a Wool/Viscose mix, i used 2 metres, cost was £6 a metre and was from Aberkhan, in Liverpool.
