Trouser 1

As a garment i think i works well, very practical and typical to what the fabric can do. Being the first pair of trousers Ive ever made i wanted to keep it as simple as possible because i didn't know how it was going to work out. I think i managed to make it somewhat fashionable, but it just looked like typical work wear.
I used a zip opening on the side, with a button fastening in the waist band.
Problems that i encountered was the fact that the fabric frayed a lot, making the stitching insecure.
Next time i would improve these trousers by adding pockets and maybe include a fly zip.
The fabric was a polyester/linen mix, purchased 2metres but only used 1 and a half. It was £2.50 a metre and was bought from Textiles Centre on Commercial Road E1.
